The letter is written in english and in it Lajos Kossuth speaks about the role of Ludvig Czernatony in the Hungarian Revolution in 1848, which justifies its request for the immigration to the United Kingdom. At the bottom of the letter was Kossuth's signature and stamp in red wax.
